Vitiligo Camouflage - vitiligo tattoos in London

Vitiligo is a skin condition in which the body’s pigment melanin is lost from areas of the skin, causing light patches to develop. Re-pigmentation treatments, in which pixels of colour are tattooed into the de-pigmented skin, can in many cases be an ideal solution for camouflaging vitiligo.

Natural Enhancement has worked closely with numerous clients to develop effective treatments that deliver lasting results.

Our experienced team of specialists carefully infuse custom-blended skin tone pigments into vitiligo patches, to mimic the appearance of natural pigment – restoring the colour of your skin.

Before And After

Vitiligo Re-pigmentation Treatments

Is Vitiligo Camouflage tattoo treatment right for me?

Suitable for vitiligo that’s been in remission for three years or more, vitiligo camouflage gets the best results for smaller areas of skin. Extremely large areas of vitiligo are not possible to treat since the discomfort, commitment and expense would make the programme too difficult.

What will happen during my consultation?

During your consultation your specialist will precisely analyse your skin colourings and may need to out carry out 1-2 microscopic ‘colour-match’ tests in the vitiligo site. These test areas are then left to develop over a number of weeks giving a realistic impression of how your vitiligo camouflage will look long term. This ensures that the correct skin tone shades are blended for you and the finished result is exactly what you want.

What happens during my vitiligo Camouflage Tattoo treatment?

An electronic hand-piece is traced over the area to infuse the colour. We use the subtlest layering to make sure the pigment looks completely natural.

How long will it take?

Each treatment session takes about 1 hour. Typically you may need multiple sessions.

Will it hurt?

We’ll apply numbing agents before the treatment begins. Our clients describe the discomfort as no more than around 4 out of 10.

What kind of training does the technician have?

All our technicians have an extensive portfolio of treatments and have been through our training course, which is recognised by the special treatments licensing as well as VTCT and ITEC.

Will I be able to go back to work straight afterwards?

Absolutely. Typically the area around your treatment may be red and a little swollen for 72 hours, but that should be the only after-effect.

Do you provide aftercare?

Yes – complimentary aftercare products are included with your treatment. You can find out more about semi permanent makeup aftercare by visiting our aftercare and advice page.
