Before And After

Scalp Micropigmentation

Am I suitable for treatment?

Scalp micropigmentation gives you a surgery-free long-term solution to hair loss resulting from:

  • Unsuccessful hair transplants due to insufficient donor hair
  • Scars formed from donor sites in hair transplant surgery
  • Scars from injury or operations
  • Hair thinning on the scalp in females
  • Trichotillomania
  • Alopecia

The technique works by creating a natural-looking simulation of micro-hairs, by replicating a short hair growing from the follicle. Tiny micro-points of pigment are skillfully infused into the skin to create a shadow of colour that mimics the density of natural hair growth. The technique can be used to replace hair on the scalp, beard and moustache.

Understand your treatment plan

How long does scalp micropigmentation take?

Each appointment will take around 1 hour. But you will need multiple appointments, especially for larger areas.

Does scalp micropigmentation look real?

Our highly experienced team will match the treated area to your natural hair colour so that the results look as natural as possible.

What happens during the consultation?

During your consultation your specialist will assess your hair-growth needs and blend a variety of ‘prescriptive’ shades to guarantee consistent replication of your natural hair colourings. This just makes sure that the correct effect and colours are chosen for you, and that the finished result is exactly what you want.

What will happen during treatment?

Your expert technician will skilfully infuse a series of micro-points of pigment into the skin which produce the look of short hairs – they’ll carefully pay attention to the follicular hair size and the density of the natural hair growth.

Will it hurt?

Our clients usually describe the discomfort as no more than 3 out of 10.

What kind of training does the technician have to have?

All our technicians have an extensive portfolio of treatments, meet all licensing standards, and are certified by VTEC and ITEC.

Will I be able to go back to work straight afterwards?

Absolutely. Typically the area around your treatment may be slightly red, but that should be the only after-effect.

Do you provide aftercare?

Yes – aftercare products are included with your treatment. You can find out more about semi permanent makeup aftercare by visiting our aftercare and advice page.
